EMPOWER YOUR TEEN'S SUCCESS
With intentional skill building focused on executive functioning skills and social-emotional development.

About Me.
My "why" for being an educator has always been rooted in teaching others skills that are transferable throughout their stages of life. With the hope that they might live a healthier, more successful and fulfilling life. Throughout my 19 years of experience in secondary education, I have seen that these "skills" are defined through the development of executive functioning and social-emotional well-being.

From my time as a classroom teacher to my time as a counselor, I have learned the most effective ways to help teens develop these life-long skills. As well as partnering with parents to help support and hopefully minimize the frustrations of raising a teenager.

PURPOSE
With Intent aims to support teenagers in leading intentional lives by offering educational resources and workshops that emphasize the development of executive functioning and social-emotional skills. Over my 19 years in secondary education, I have witnessed the frustrations faced by teens, their parents, and teachers due to the lack of these essential skills and emotional well-being. Unfortunately, teachers often lack the time to teach these skills, parents may struggle with patience, and teenagers are left to navigate these challenges on their own. This can lead to frustration, hinder learning, and parent-child relationships. I hope you and your teenager will find valuable insights and guidance in my newsletters and interactive workshops. Additionally, I have developed resources for teachers to help them regularly integrate executive functioning skill-building techniques into their classrooms.
